Gretchen is professional, patient, funny and encouraging. I received my very first lesson from her, attended her lady's golf clinic and plan to take some more lessons soon. My introduction to golf was a few years back but she truly was a springboard to my love of golf today...my husband and I play every week. She knows her business, she knows the mechanics and what will help your personal improvement goals.

Best practice facility in the area. If it was closer to Charlottesville it would be packed every day. Local courses have driving ranges, but those are really only good for warming up before a round as their distances are no where near accurate and everything is down hill.  Highlands Driving Range is FANTASTIC!  Highlands has both grass and mat tees (covered/headed and outside), lights, tons of flags with fairly accurate distances to each bay (I checked with my range finder). They have a fairway bunker on one side of the range and a greenside bunker on the other to practice from. Overall, really what a practice facility should be!

Affordable place, Staff very friendly. Gras and Mat Tees. Mat tees offer change of tee height. Coin operated area heater for those colder days. Well marked. They set the ball picker baskets out on the range for targets. Snacks and non alcohol beverages available. Ppro shop with some selection. Easy to get too.

Thanks to the owner and the staff at this amazing little golf oasis in Ruckersville. We were one of many family groups enjoying the mini golf in the sun on 12/30, and went back again 12/31 because we couldn’t get enough! They were welcoming to a rag tag crew, giving our kids drivers to use at the range, putting up with a lot of noise, and just generally running a great business. We will be back often!

We had a wonderful time here tonight! We played on the mini golf course. It has recently been updated and the new green is so nice! I also loved that each post had a little clipboard to hold your score card while you played. Everything was so clean and nice and the owners were very kind to us. A nice little picnic area is right there too! I highly recommend and we will definitely be back! Great time!

What an incredible place. Staying in the area for a couple days and couldn’t be happier with my experience. The staff was polite and friendly. They gave me all the information about the range and how to get a bucket of balls. The range was awesome; grass, mats (with cover) and mats without. They also have a chipping/bunker area. Probably one of the better ranges I’ve found yet, way better than a top golf in my opinion! Thanks for a great experience!

Have been here for driving range a few times. Good place to hit some balls with several available formats including covered and heated tee boxes. But Im here to rave about golf instruction I received from the facility‘s resident pro/coach, Gretchen.  I’m an over-60 male with only a few lessons and maybe 100 holes played in my lifetime. Wanting to at least keep my shots in play and stop topping and shanking tee and long fairway shots, I went in for a quick half-hour lesson. By the time we were done, Gretchen had given me excellent points of focus to take to my pending game. But more than that, she went miles “above and beyond” to ensure I was equipped to do well on my next outing, not just with knowledge and technique, but even offered to lend some clubs. The personal attention and desire to help meet my goals was 100% genuine (and 110% appreciated!). Highly recommend.

Great find! About 10 miles north of Charlottesville on US 29. Worth the drive (it’s not a bad drive!). Grass tees, covered tees, outside tees — all in prime shape. Range has plenty of targets — and is flat which is hard to find around Charlottesville. 10 out of 10. Great place to groove your swing!

We love it here! There is a reason they have been in business for nearly 30 years! The miniature golf is a lot of fun. The have a great driving range, too! Gretchen is an awesome instructor! She has given both me and my kids lessons!

This is a fun place that is easy on the wallet. We went for mini golf and it was such a fun course! Our Grand kids had a fantastic time.
